Huck’s Tavern: A Fun Dining Experience in Coshocton, OH

This has quickly become a favorite night out for me. They’ve got great prices, great bartenders. (Who are also so funny)! And good food. The atmosphere is light & fun. My husband and I love coming here, and If I were to come alone, it’s well lit, and definitely a safe place to be alone as a woman. Plenty of street parking and lots of fun to be had!

Dropped in for a late lunch and were very hungry. Huck's was almost empty so we were seated promptly. Server/bar tender was friendly. I asked for a ginger ale and was told they didn't carry it but offered a ginger beer instead. Ordered a Lock 37 salad and the jambalaya special. The food came quickly and that's when we found out this place was not to be taken seriously. The salad was served on a paper plate. Really. A paper plate? The jambalaya came in a small ramikin. No bread. Just a small bowl that was gone in a few spoonfuls. It tasted great, but was pretty small even for a lunch special. The physical space is nicely renovated. But how do you take an "upscale" bar seriously that serves food on paper plates??? UPDATE: I received a nice reply to my review. The owner explained the disposable items were a stopgap because they couldn't find a dishwasher to hire. That is a legitimate explanation and I acknowledge and accept it. I hope he finds someone because paperplates are a bad look for a place like Huck's. I have adjusted my rating accordingly.

We went on Burger Thursday! So So good. Great atmosphere and food.

Very nice bar setting with a great drink listing. Does have a small food menu mostly with different types of hot dogs and flat bread pizzas. Does have good appetizers. Recommend pretzel bites with beer cheese. Salads are kind of small but everything on it looks and tastes very fresh.

Christi and Marley were great. They were fast with food and drinks. The husky dog and chips with beer cheese were good. They always checked in on us and we've been here for 4 hours now. Not only did they make sure we were taken care of constantly their friendliness and customer service was beyond exceptional. I am very pleased with the service and food. Christi which was our main waitress was beyond professional and courteous I will definitely be back. Husk's is super comfortable feeling, and the lighting is nice.

My daughter and I had delicious food and excellent service at Huck’s Tavern today. The proprietor couldn’t have been any more pleasant. Do yourself a favor and get the amazing warm brownie with ice cream. You won’t regret it!

An amazing experience!!! Far better than expected! Rebecca our server was so delightful! Our hot dogs were excellent and worth every penny!!! This is a "must-go" stop/place when you're in the area! Wish we had one in Charlotte, NC! Thanks to the entire staff We'll be back!!!
